I see, EV heritage, makes more sense.

An EV is a car to me, they have little car building heritage, and it shows in the finer details.

Their charging network is open as well, anyone can use it.

Admittedly was nearly 3 years ago when I looked at them but their price point/quality baffled me. There seems to be a huge iPhone for cars syndrome amongst the geeks

I reckon there is a bit of yes and no to this…

They are very much a computer / power source on wheels these days, and the software is integral to the driving. Ignoring the computer side of it is as bad an idea of ignoring the driving side of it.

VW have just gotten it all wrong on their ID models by scrimping on the software, and it’s hit their sales.

Could you argue trad manufacturers will get the software and battery aspects right quicker than Tesla and their ilk will get the coach building right?
