A nice little question time rant there from George, preaching to the faithful as usual, but did he offer anything in the way of a constructive alternative to the Rwanda scheme? I think most people will agree the government have made a bit of a pig’s ear of this and it’s hard at the moment to imagine them ever getting planes off the ground but I feel like a lot of people on the left are just hoping that if they slag off the government enough no one will notice that they’re not saying anything helpful that might actually address the issue.
To my mind that’s just as bad if not worse than coming up with a flawed plan and struggling to get it over the line.
