                          The quicker Kalvin Phillips gets match fit the better, so Hendo has more time to talk his way into a Qatari clink.

                            ScottBailey Bellingham stated how having Hendo in midfield gave the team more intensity and allow him to be more attacking.

                            I know you will never agree, but he can add a lot of value in a midfield, but for England that would only be where Southgate sets up a more attacking style of play. Where he is more cautious then Hendo doesn’t have a beneficial role in the team.

                            He also acts like a captain in his role, unlike Kane. Which surely helps the youngsters in the team

                                  I was really struck by this in last night’s game. If only his first touch, second touch, vision and passing were markedly better, he’d be a poor man’s Roy Keane.
