Along_the_Wire …meeting my daughter who’s been there a while, not seen her in a year!
I’m going on my own, my missus visited her when she was in India a few months back and she can’t get any more time off work… we may go back out together next year.
Daughter is fully in travelling mode so v relaxed about arrangements which kinda messes with my Western mind, but she says it’s so inexpensive that really time is your only limitation. Like I say, I think we’ll be mainly exploring around the South Coast area.
I keep saying to find somewhere ‘smart’ so we can push the boat out a bit and have a bit of luxury, but she’s in such a travellers mindset, staying in hostels for a couple of rupees a night etc. that she finds it really hard to justify spending any real cash on accommodation/food. I gather the South Coast is a bit of a honeymoon spot so I’m sure there are some fantastic options.
