Everyone is ill as fuck
It’s hardly an impossible position to find yourself in. Just get a PCR test and away you go
NasserAlazzawi Purely anecdotally, I never get sick, like a cold every 4 years. I’ve had colds (or maybe covid again, who knows) in October and December after dealing with covid in January.
My lass reckons she possibly has covid now… what a time!
Mad_Cyril You’re front line aren’t you Dave, bringing it back to the UK in Jan?
I have had it, I tested negative 7 days ago now.
I think that gives me some immunity for about 6 months.
I suppose I might bring some back on my coat from being surrounded by nongs on the subway to the airport, by accident.
By the way, whatever variant this is, isn’t bad if you’re reasonably young and fit. Almost everyone I know has had it now and describes the mix of symptoms fairly similarly.
Basically, two bad days in bed with fever/chills/headache (I didn’t have the fever but did have the headache), and so much snot I had to build a mountain of sofa cushions at the end of my bed to sleep upright like the elephant man. After two days, the worst is over. The people who are in serious trouble here seem to be the over 65s and obese. So that’s you fucked, Rhouses.
bosstrabs that tracks with my case. A week after first getting symptoms I slept through the night for the first time. No coughing to wake me up.
Missus is still fine, she tested negative for three days straight, after that she said she’ll test again if she gets some symptoms. So far nothing. Living with me she just probably has an iron constitution.
rhouses Chest felt a bit heavy last night,
That’ll be those 44DD moobs.
Cankles-McJeggings I’ll take that on the chin, Derms. lol.
Sophie and the baby now have covid. Really not nice seeing a newborn ill. Matter of time before I have it.
