I totally swerved Diggers after the first Transistions CD….despite going to the launch at Heaven I thought it was dull and too moody. Last time I saw him was in 2016 at the MOS which was pretty good for the first few hours, but then turned into a pounding techno sausagefest. To quote my brother “Where’s all the birds”

Dubman Yeh, my comment was simplified, but sticking a sound in the right place can obviously make a notable difference to groove and rhythm.

I think they need creative inputs from John & Nick to create that bedrock sound. The last vinyl track of NM I bought was Numb although it was ok it wasn’t as good as a bedrock production.

Digweed’s coming to Helsinki May 6th. First time in Finland since 2012 if I’m not mistaken. Shall of course attend.

I downloaded a flac version of Bunker 49 and had a good listen yesterday. I didn’t hear any nudges up or down during any of the transitions but the annoying thing was that sound effect he used almost on every mix which in the end made it unlistenable. I’m afraid I won’t be listening to him anymore.

There definitely was during about the 30 mins I listened (which was quite good actually)

Dubman Blimey. A long time ago then. I actually listened to it a few days ago for the first time in ages. Still good, but doesn’t beat the Bedrock productions from that time for sure.

Used to cane this non-Digweed NM tune (with the help of Burridge)

That’s good to hear. What is that effect he constantly uses.
