I went to one of Tucci’s recommendations in Florence and loved it…. I dropped Stanley Tucci’s name and was treated like a king - given free dishes etc… this place.. osteria del cinghiale bianco:

Prices in the summer are astronomical this year.
I asked a travel agent who couldn’t pronounce his ths to book me a ticket to Rome.
He said “Vat I can”.
Big fan of Calabria for a summer holiday destination. Mountains, beautiful villages, largely unspoilt beaches and local cuisine. Not overly pricey either
