My first and favorite, Kruder & Dorfmeister.
DJ Kicks-rankings
Michael Mayer’s mix is decent
Stacey Pullen
Haven’t listened to many but I did really enjoy Cinthie’s from last year. Bouncy and housey!
Tiga
Homegrove If I’m being honest, I haven’t heard them easily in a decade given they’re CDs that have been sitting in my loft. Pleasantly surprised to find the entire discog on Apple Music. Quickly downloaded the G-Stoned EP and a bit mindblown that it released in 1993, proud to have that on vinyl as well. Even more surprised that the DJ Kicks released in 1996. There’s an album called 1995 which released in 2020 which I’m looking forward to.
I think they’re all shit - artists trying too hard and coming up with boring tripe.
Ditto.
Along_the_Wire DJ Tennis’ DJ Kicks is certainly that, yet I find myself listening to it every six months for some reason.
I actually remember liking Aparat’s but wouldnt go out of my way to relisten.
Cankles-McJeggings that’s actually a really good one.
Talabot’s kicks ass
carmani To be fair, I quite liked that, but not listened to it since
No love for the rallies joke OLB?
Thought it was ace Dave.
Do you think DJ Tennis uses Roland (Garros) gear?
