Michael Mayer’s mix is decent

rhouses that is ace, my favorite to play while getting drunk in the back garden in the summer.

Haven’t listened to many but I did really enjoy Cinthie’s from last year. Bouncy and housey!

Homegrove If I’m being honest, I haven’t heard them easily in a decade given they’re CDs that have been sitting in my loft. Pleasantly surprised to find the entire discog on Apple Music. Quickly downloaded the G-Stoned EP and a bit mindblown that it released in 1993, proud to have that on vinyl as well. Even more surprised that the DJ Kicks released in 1996. There’s an album called 1995 which released in 2020 which I’m looking forward to.

I think they’re all shit - artists trying too hard and coming up with boring tripe.

Homegrove DJ Tennis’ DJ Kicks is certainly that, yet I find myself listening to it every six months for some reason.

It starts off a bit shit but it rallies towards the end.

        Love it.
