Think my vote went to the Japanese 7-11 Egg Salad sandwich (with sharp cheddar mixed into the blend) last year.
This year it has to be the classic club sandwich going by how many times I’ve had it at the cafe by the pool in our gated community.

Do enjoy a good italian sub, but at home I usually make a BLT. Finland has shitty sandwhich culture, all you can usually get here is cheese, ham and cucumber in a roll. Maybe some lettuce thrown in for color.
Banh mi or reuben my favourite.
Made a nice spaghetti bolognaise sarnie yesterday on cheap white bread. That was a winner
Saabich pita from Pilpel
Do also like the chicken caesar bacon baguette from Pret
I’ve never had a better sandwich than the Reuben at Sam La Grassa’s in Boston.
Salt beef and mustard bagel from Brick Lane.
Literally mustard.
When I eat meet, a BLT on white sourdough with a ton of mayo. Now it’s a cheese salad sandwich on sourdough - lettuce, tomato and loads of onion (a hangover from Covid - onion was the only thing I could taste for ages).
Subway bmt.
Stone cold vlassic.
But warmed up. Obvs.
Do like their meatball marinara (not a euphemism) I must say.
Sans cheese, natch.
Subway bread is lowest common denominator shite. Fucking muck. Everything they put in is processed shite too if it’s not really cheap salad. Wankers.
Homemade Cheese/Tomato with sea salt & pepper with a squirt of mayo. Crescent of crisps preferably space raiders.
Little gem lettuce, vintage cheddar, vine tomatoes and marmite.
Takes me back to being sexually abused in my uncle Trevor’s shed as a boy.
