Wally
Danny T & Wally holding hands on the big wheel.. do tell.

Twilo set shite. Not for me. Full of flouncy nonsense.
Good to see Danny sporting the same hairdo as Edwand if he tried growing his.

Pretty much on par with Vazquez, whom I am yet to hear a decent set by. The only thing that seems to make Twilo legendary was the progressive house DJs that went there. Deep Dish and Tenaglia just jumped on the bandwagon for a while and benefited from it.

    Was hadn’t nobody posted:

    1. The futurism cover
    2. Him on that horse surrounded by men.

There was a set going around at the time of Sasha and digweed taking over that Vasquez put out in response of him being tagged no longer the king of twilo anymore.
It was fucking shite and probably did him more harm than good. Full of silly vocal house and handbag. His legendary 3 deck, 12 hours sets of twisted tribal and whatnot died without trace virtually there and then. Then there’s the story of him unplugging all the desk and other equipment in what he considered his booth when s&d turned up.
    Mince.

His appearance at Cream was legendary, after not selling enough tickets for Alexandra Palace, they sent him to Dipperland where he played Elton John’s Rocket Man to piled up scallys. They probably bummed him and then beat him to death in the morning

        The king of has-been haus

Learning that this was on London will always make me laugh. Ed big upping that comp for years and then it gets outed as AIDS-Rave. Love it.

Haha. Probably your very last port of call for anything to do with virtually anything especially music and football is Edwand.

Had the pleasure of seeing Tenaglia in 2001 (?) when he was announced as the special Bedrock guest by email on the day of the gig. I went on my own as my mate couldn’t make it, so glad I did, it was an amazing set. He started with Jam & Spoon - Stella and then it was just brilliant track after brilliant track. I ended up dancing next to the fat lads from global underground who told me this set would be part of one of their next GU’s (London then cane out later that year).

I’ll always give him a try based on that experience

benson no it was the Heaven, London one….although now you mention it I think he also did Brighton as well?

gcw he did. I think it was 2000. It was just before i started clubbing proper and could have gone to the brighton night as I walked past the beach that night. But I was a noob and naive

Cankles-McJeggings Then there’s the story of him unplugging all the desk and other equipment in what he considered his booth when s&d turned up.

Think Digweed debunked that, unfortunately as that would have been a funny bitchy queen move to pull.

zackster I recall the actual story behind that being half the sound system wasn’t connected up properly until he started to play, didn’t you state that Josh Wink did something similar at an event that you attended there, making previous DJs look incompetent. Sasha, has actually confirmed this on many occasions. It was even printed in Mixmag.

Dry-Tinder didn’t you state that Josh Wink did something similar at an event that you attended

No no Wink would never. He is all peace love and good vibes.

The story I told was that Mauro Picotto allegedly did it to Carl Cox. I also think that one is bullshit as they have played at eachothers parties multiple times.

                  gcw
No he played Home in London on the Friday and Saturday. The night you mentioned was the Easter Weekend in 2000 I think.
