Loved the Bill Burr special, his diatribe on why women’s sports doesn’t get enough pay almost brought a tear to my eye. Truth.

That argument didn’t go down well with my woke uncle from NYC at dinner a couple of days back. Neither did my, “when I watch women’s sports it feels like it’s in slow motion” line. Tbf to him, he did start ripping on gender fluidity/identity and the pronoun people.

Women are people too, Rhouses.

I thought Afterlife was brilliant, not many shows can do humour and sadness at the same time.

RichM agreed. I like Stewart Lee but it’s a little pompous to trash Gervais here.

Rosebud Baker is one to keep an eye out for. This is brilliant.

I watched Stewart Lee’s Snowflake show last week. It’s quite funny in places. He does rip into Gervais & all those comedians who reckon they’ve been cancelled but then do a show on Netflix which earns them millions.

LT42 yeah, agreed. I know Gervais is marmite but that just smacks of professional jealousy.

Plus I don’t rate Stewart Lee’s delivery. Always been mreh to me.

        Millsy I don’t rate Stewart Lee’s delivery

Gervais literally laughs at his own jokes so the audience knows when to laugh.

Amps so does Kevin Bridges. He’s brilliant. What’s your point?

          • Amps replied to this.

Millsy Bridges is a million times better than Gervais, he can laugh whenever he likes.

Along_the_Wire yes I enjoy both Gervais and Stewart Lee.

Although sadly Stewart Lee has disappeared up his own rectum in the last few years; it’s probably the effect of having spent too long writing a column for the Guardian.

His latest ‘Snowflake’ special still had funny moments, but also a lot of it fell flat.

Gervais gets a pass for The Office, Golden Globes and the podcasts with him, Merchant and Pilkington. All absolutely brilliant. Lee just comes across as green eyed and bitter while clearly getting a Brydon belly rub. Wince.

Millsy the podcasts with him, Merchant and Pilkington

I’ll binge listen to these once a year. Pilkington is a joy.

SM001 ‘Ive always wanted to kick a duck up the arse’

I remember once reading that Stuart Lee was a comedian. Funniest thing about him.

He’s got absolutely nothing about him to even talk about Gervais. File under no mark cunt

Karl Pilkington is the least funny person who people inexplicably find funny.

Sort of a real life Millsy.

I agree with you on the above except for the jealousy. Afterlife aside from Joe Wilkinson , was fairly poor imo so i can understand why he questions its success.

Pilkington nailed on to upvote his own posts too! Bet he’s number one on the forum he admins. They’re all the same, these guys…

                      LOL, had forgotten about that.

Defamation. You’ll be hearing from my solicitor. Good day!

                        Good day to you, sir!

LOL, how utterly predictable that 2022 Millsy would favour Gervais over Lee.

Indicative of the declining standards that will keep Millsy hovering outside the top 3 for the foreseeable…

That’s harsh, your Christmas recipes are invariably a tour de force

He’s spot on about Game of Thrones, though

I don’t find him particularly funny but he’s very observant and that’s amusing in itself. Lee not Mills.
