Just watched Snowflake and Tornado on the iPlayer, liked them both.
Phil-McRackin Only seen Snowflake. Thought it was good in places. I’ll give tornado a whirl next.
Phil-McRackin I thought Tornado was a fair bit better. Snowflake seemed too ‘Stewart Lee by numbers’ combined with excessive moralising.
I watched Bill Bur: Friends who kill and laughed real hard during Steph Tolev’s bit.
A crying shame to see Stuart Lee’s name so many times in a thread about comedy. What a shit-show
Especially when nobody has mentioned Cannon & Ball or Bernie Clifton
hugopal yeah, wouldn’t disagree with that.
zackster I follow him on insta. Moderately amusing at best.
seanc80 I think the new format of his podcast is hilarious
zackster kinda one dimensional though no?
Roy Chubby Brown is the Don.
seanc80 umm idk. It’s definitely different since Stav left. I will say that Nick is at his funniest when he is a guest on other people’s shows.
This one made me laugh
zackster I’ve seen in the past one or two other comedians who I’m in to mention Nick Mullen as being someone who they like, but whenever I’ve checked him out myself I’ve always been underwhelmed.
3 out of 10 at best.
Bit subtle for your tastes
Yeah it was really subtle, soom doofus doing a horrific Robert De Niro impersonation.
Crap
Stu and Ed spitting out their mashed and hooting at Dane Cook counting the keys in his pocket.
Gobbledygook as usual. Can’t even attribute it to drugs either.
Ed doesn’t even know who Michael Mann is ffs
zackster Ed doesn’t even know who Michael Mann is ffs
Typical that Ed would be a climate denier
