The RIP thread
Cancer took him too, 9 year battle. RIP, he was indeed great.
Bad. Not funny. RIP NMCD, but not going to pretend he was anything other than a forgettable comic who feasted off of out of date stereotypes and Howard Stern-esque shock-humor. His delivery was funny. His content was not.

jonattonyeah I know you’re right, but I just can’t help but laugh at his deadpan delivery. It’s like being back at school as a kid when told not to laugh.
Yeah, it’s proper dark, but it’s the delivery that makes it funny
It’s the way you tell’em.
So true.
Never heard of him and didn’t laugh once. Cheers.
I get a gen lol a week from you Millsy.
Oi oi!

Jon’s fav comedian
Aren’t North American comedians an oxymoron?
Jeff Foxworthy is more my jam.
Ed absolutely pissing himself at a James Corden monologue
jonattonyeah Benny Hill and Mr Bean.
Glassiest house of all time.
The original British version of Benny Hill (Benjamin’s Mountain) was about the dangers of ambition, the influence of supernatural forces, the contrast between appearance and reality and the taboo of chasing women around a car park.
Unfortunately, the show needed to be severely simplified as to be intellectually undemanding for American audiences.

Okay, but was it funny?
