Julee Cruise, known best for her work with Angelo Badalamenti on the Twin Peaks-soundtrack has died.

An absolute tune. As David put it, her voice sounded like a dream. RIP

Gutted. This was boss. Still sounds fresh as fuck.

Going to watch episode 7 of season 2 now to pay her respects. It’s my favorite episode after the pilot, so it’ll be a pleasure.

I really really wanted to enjoy Twin Peaks but I simply couldn’t get past the first few episodes of season 2. Couldn’t tell you what on earth was going on. I remember reading the plot on Wikipedia and getting confused, and that was a summary. Maybe I’ll try again one day.

Anyway, RIP to Julee Cruise….Falling is a great tune

gcw I really really wanted to enjoy Twin Peaks but I simply couldn’t get past the first few episodes of season 2.

It does sag at times around the half-way stage of season 2 (with Lynch not actually directing many of those episodes), though the last couple of episodes make up for the perseverance.

Plus the 3rd season which came out a few years ago was absolutely sensational. Truly a tour de force. It’s worth slogging through the old season 2 for. Some of the most extraordinary scenes committed to screen.

Amps ha, I hadn’t realised that was who did the vocals. Cool.

Season 3 is the greatest prestige tv show of all time. And it has aged fantastically. Just recently started a rewatch and I am more dialed in than ever. The Mitchum Bros are such wonderful characters.

Once I’ve got a TV good enough to do it justice then season 3 is def getting a rewatch from me as well.

          LOL at Grundig

I’ve seen an episode of Twin Peaks.

          Cheers!
