I suppose another way is if there was a ridiculous amount of unrest and protesting on the streets where it was more visibly clear that the Tory leadership isn’t working at all.
It’s not like I have much faith in any parties but in terms of leadership quality and giving a clearer message, I liked the clarity of Sunak and his ability to speak to all of us and deliver a message of what we are doing now / where we are going, during the pandemic. Same with David Cameron.
Public speaking just made Truss look out of her depth and I read somewhere (maybe here?) that she was literally cancelling organised media meetings with fake deaths of cousins / aunties etc to avoid them.
If you hate public speaking you simply cannot lead.
