Sasha and Digweed Hackney Church1st December 2023
I don’t mind Hackney - a couple of mates that have lived there a long time - had a lot of great weekends there.

RichM But as per my previous post, it comes with lots of shit, such as yesterday’s shootings, but I’m sure that’s not unique to London. I’m guessing Berlin has trendy areas which are expensive but also edgy, a bit shit?
Yeah but the similar/equivalent types of areas in Berlin are at the lower side not quite as dodgy or crime-ridden in the same way, but at the upper end are not as refined or varied in terms of things like properties and restaurants.
Those parts of London feel more unequal in that the worse seems worse but the better seems better.
There are no multi-million town houses in those parts of Berlin, it’s all apartment buildings.

Dry-Tinder nice and close to me although I’ve never been clubbing in Bristol before, it doesn’t strike me as a great place for electronic music but I may be wrong
Dry-Tinder Looks like a flyer from 1994 - definitely worth confirming
Hursty You are wrong. Had some great nights there!
Along_the_Wire cool, I’ll consider it however they will no doubt be playing in London that period so would prefer to use my pass more wisely
Saw Nick play a blinder at Lakota in 95. Ajare brought the house down.
Good to see Stu Wilkinson and Jim Rivers of Empathy running the second room. Had some great nights at the old Timbuk2 club for Empathy back in the day. Stu deserves a lot of praise for the amount of work he’s put in over the years for the Brizzle scene.
ScottBailey …Stu is a top lad
Along_the_Wire ha ha that’s exactly what I thought when I saw it. I was a bit worried passing over the credit card details for the tickets.
Hopefully, they will put Nick Warren in the room with them.
It’s about as local as it gets for me.
