Millsy Mate of mine who lives in London, has been in Bangalore since March. Had to sublet his apartment over there for a couple of months while he’s here… one of his neighbours living below complained there was a leak coming through the roof from my mate’s apartment bathroom. Not being in London, he immediately called up plumbers to sort it out. After doing a recce they tell him they need to rip out the whole bathroom and retile everything… quoting 5000 pounds. Freaked out and called another neighbour of his who is a bit of a handy man, all it took to fix the issue was tightening a few pipes.
Couldn’t help but think of Smalls when I he told me the story, for some reason.
