Reviving this thread as I have got 50m of cat 6 cabling arriving tomorrow to finally get my office the internet speeds it deserves. Just gonna run it as a long cable out the external wall, round the front of the house and down and into the living room where the router is to start with and will then eventually put wall sockets up. Assembled a shed this week as well. Had to create a base for it with plastic stuff and gravel. Not done a bad job all in all. Hold tight for gigabit feedback.
