benson mono-stereo I want quicker. Borrowed sone 500 powerlibe and I get 30mbps. Got a pair of 1000 on order. I use NAS for my time machine backups so the quicker the better. Just run the cable outside. Easy peasy, future proof and properly fast.

benson Millsy Its not wired though. It is ethernet over the powerline. Most sites say you get about 8% of the advertised speed. Hence why I am going to run proper cat6 and drill some holes in the wall
