Wally Agree with that. It would be a toss up between the National at Ally Pally and Leftfield on Saturday for gig of the year. Biggest disappointment was Aphex Twin who sucked

2023 has been a year of ‘one and done’ for both tunes and mixes for me.
I’ve had about as much fun looking at the Premier League table as I have looking at BP this year.

Best I can do is give an honourable mention to that Spun Day track though for sounding like it could be on 006 CD1.

ScottBailey Agreed on the Spun Day track! One of the rare decent ‘Prog’ tracks I heard this year. Whatever genre/sub genres of tracks I was buying over the past couple of years have become stale and monotonous this year. I was forced/chose to listen elsewhere and to different DJ’s that I used to pass over.
Theres still plenty of great music out there.

alistair that Jobe track might be my fave this year. 2023 has been a bang average year for tunes imo. Do like Raxon - your fault, but nothing really stands out.
