zackster I can confirm the baps were generally around the edges or front or on higher levels up at soundgarden stage. Over

Ended up going as a result of Wally sorting me with a ticket - I wouldn’t have gone otherwise, cheers!

Cristoph was in full party mode, mash-up central on the main stage, which was a lot of fun (in the sun! It was roasting late-afternoon). Tunes he played from when I got there:

M83 - Midnight City (Prydz)
Eric Prydz vs. Pink Floyd - Proper Education
Cirez D - On Off w/ Cassius - The Sound of Violence
(and I think what must have been) &ME & Black Coffee - The Rapture Pt.III w/
Kings Of Tomorrow ft. Julie McKnight - Finally

Franky Wah took over and began with Maceo Plex - Conjure Balearia but at this point it was getting very busy so I left for the Soundgarden stage, where the atmosphere was brilliant so I remained there for the rest of the evening. Had a great time!

Thought the main stage area was a tad narrow and a bit on the quiet side (volume wise) for the amount of people there but when I returned for the end of S&D it seemed they had sorted the latter.

    Sounds absolutely horrific!

    Smallman1

Fucking brilliant, I don’t think that they played any of the tracks that they played the previous week. I was ruined by the end of it though.

      Was it 2005?

Frankie Wah is a class act. Had a chat with him back in September after he played a set here at a festival called Electric Island that’s held at a War of 1812 fort in Downtown Toronto.

I see this got an airing.

I wish Digweed, would draw a line under the need to comment on mobile phones at events, it’s really fucking boring. It’s bad enough having to listen to all of them cunts on social media constantly going on about living in the moment, it’s almost like they think they coined the phrase. I can’t honestly say I spend my time at events taking not of phone usage.

Ashee’s stuff is more UKG, Bass, Techno to be fair.

You’ll all be bang into it soon

Absolutely brilliant night, great to catch up the Nas finally! It was certainly going off down the front right 😀

The lads definitely seemed to be enjoying it especially Sasha, the crowd was well up for it and that city backdrop with the sunset was quite special

        Would defo go again

Sasha and Diggers seem to be enjoying a purple patch at the moment. Good stuff.

Yeah @Dan @benson I liked some of that stuff in the past. Might see if I can find a way to use Armand’s remix in a set at the right moment and see if it takes.

On my first video above does anyone know what this track is that Roy Rosenfeld/Tim Green are playing?

I have a theory its by PROFF, not released yet, could be wrong. I hear @SM001 is supposed to be the man for tune forensics.

NasserAlazzawi I hear @SM001 is supposed to be the man for tune forensics.

Good Luck with this request 😂. To my untrained ears it sounds like Leger but I tend to recognise tracks from their lower frequency characteristics.

Are you thinking we can stop it getting released ? Happy to help

You might be on to something here - it’s a real undiscovered gem. I bet the crowd will be surprised and delighted, and you’ll have many rushing up to the booth to ask what it is.

Armand certainly had a way with a bassline. Think he released his Tori Amos, Nu Yorican Soul, CJ Bolland and Sneaker Pimps remixes all within a year of each other.

Shame Armand couldn’t replicate his production chops when Dj’ing.

Played quite possibly one of the worst sets I’ve ever heard at Printworks a few years back.

Smallman1 I was there mate. On autopilot and stuck on 1999. Thankfully Krystal Klear was excellent before

It was absolutely terrible wasn’t it, could’t believe what I was hearing.

                SM001

Thanks. I will holiday here when there is an event on, or a new CDJ/mixer comes out.

I’ve enjoyed meeting the JCers so far, and I want to see if @hugopal is actually fun when he’s off his tits or if his he turns up to a club with his autocorrect research laptop fixed to his body tethered to 5G - primed to catch anyone out on something.

Saw Sanchez at Pacha in Buenos Aires in 2007 and he was absolutely mustard.

                Hope that helps!
