  • What are you listening to at the moment?..

Good power prog, needs to be heard in a club really

Wasily

Wasily Archive- Numb (Muir mixes)- I have the original masters of these if you want them?

I’ll take a link if you’re offering?

Along_the_Wire I used to spin the Brothers in Rhythm remix of this a lot. Had forgotten about the original. Classic Marc Mitchell melody….

Millsy Desyn ….now there’s a name. i knew him for a bit …he was mates with Omid 16b - both from Croydon I think and would hang around with the chaps from Plastica . I reckon his career must have been distracted/derailed by the sort of things that derail musical careers. Good DJ. I remember that gig he played in the other room downstairs at Bedrock - can’t remember its name, the small one - he smashed it that night.

  • Matt replied to this.

Millsy Kalidasa: this could be the most Millsy tune of all time ! More even than The Softest Hard !

Dubman i have a lot of Martin Cartledge’s oeuvre if that is the right world. Amazed at how fast it sounds today …….felt slow and chilled in 2001.

SM001 I shall be having a sniff around his back catalogue fo sho - will keep you posted! Cheers mate

baggers44 I’ve always thought he’s an excellent DJ. Comes across as a bit of a dick though. I remember a while back when he did his seekers series mix, people were asking for him to ID the odd track here and there, his response was “people should find their own music”.

Matt not good. not hugely surprised though. i still think he is gigging on the circuit but probably did not fulfil his potential. maybe you could say that about a lot of those younger guys from the early 00s.

Matt people not IDing tracks are weapons. Same as that ‘vinyl only’ elitist bollocks.

Millsy people not IDing tracks are weapons.

Bang on. All can fuck off.

          Disrespectful to the producers

It’s the same as dj’s playing track then not releasing them for upto a year later.

          still a great chuffing toon
