It’s not like I’m into everything he does, but every couple of releases there’s something spectacular, some of those stripped-down ‘Astro Dubs’ he pulls out of the bag are tremendous and take on a whole new lease-of-life when you hear them on a big system. A proper musician with a real passion for his work. He was interviewed on Facebook for some South African channel at the weekend, went into real detail about his creative process, it was brilliant… it sounds as if that whole sound has a huge and growing market out there, artists like him, Matt Masters, Jimpster are massively popular.
