Mad_Cyril ā¦it def has its uses, just not a necessary process for every file.
Personally, if something sounds at a noticeably low level relative to other tracks, I might give it a PN pass, but tbh itās pretty rare with newly sourced stuff. If it offers to ārepair clipped peaksā or whatever, I donāt bother (I figure they are in the main, as they are intended to be).
If you leave āAudio Viewā on, you can generally see straight away if something needs boosted or not.
