Heard Reeves talking about this yesterday I think. They’re not getting involved, just leaving it to the firms. Nobody in the presser suggested that said firms would do the cheapest / shittest version possible, should they bother themselves at all. Missed opportunity imo. If they do build anything, they’ll probably turn out to be the next version of the water / blood / post scandal.

Hursty The house builders won’t get involved if the spec is too tricky or too expensive. Or they will build shite and just lie, and you end up with another Grenfell / national cladding issue. Much better that the government did it themselves.
