Binary Finary, Gouryella, Out of the Blue, Bullet in the Gun, Not Over Yet, Diving Faces

Binary Finary > all the other ones you’ve listed there.

Gouryella is pure cheese. Out of the Blue I don’t think is Ferry’s best work. Bullet in the Gun and Not Over Yet have both got tired. Diving Faces not sure it was ever as much a “classic”? And also quite cheesy.

Certainly it must have been popular, at least with DJs, as it was inescapable for about 6 months. Although often as an early or mid-set track.

Amps Yeah, it was always a broad church. The boys in the office liked their US house, so you’d regularly get Sanchez, Sneak, Onionz, Joeski or the like for a bit of balance. Once Bugged Out came over it shifted around a bit, some people going to the Friday night etc.

96 - 02 Oakey, Full On, Bugged Out, festival line ups, absolute carnage every weekend, proper ’avin it stuff, boss vibes
03 - 08 It struggled the way the rest of the industry did, not sure what to do with itself post trance, still some great nights

Note the word “cheesy”.

Also, again the term “guilty pleasure” should be fairly self-explanatory. There needs to be some element of it whereby you’re aware that a fair few other people may find it a weird thing to like and perhaps a bit cringe - and therefore you may feel a bit hesitant or “guilty” about sharing it. If it’s just something you share proudly and you expect many others would understand and agree with then it’s just a “pleasure”.

Posting generally accepted stone-cold classic, non-cheesy trance doesn’t really fit the criteria.
