A bit strange that he would have played the Moonface mix at the Bedrock night, but then stuck his edit of the Saffron mix on the London GU.

The Saffron mix is far superior anyway.

I didn’t say it was strange that he played the Moonface mix in and of itself, but rather that it would be strange if he put a different remix on his London GU to the one he played at the party which it was supposedly in part for.

But if he also played the Saffron mix at the party then it makes more sense.

It would be strange for him to play Moonface in the sense that this was just a club night where the music of said Moonface was extremely popular, with a few thousand people off their heads, having the time of their lives and Danny Tenaglia just should’ve thought fucking better of it in the moment, stroking his chin as he leaned into his bag, “25 years from now some absolute fuckwit will question the selection of this very track, maybe I should take a step back and really think about this.”
As he was thinking this, Hugo was at home watching the Blockbusters omnibus, shaking his head and tearing at the sides of the settee because Bob Holness said the word “Gorgonzola” wrong. These are all real facts.

Above it was pointed out that there were GU banners at the back of the Heaven gig, and the fat lads from GU were there.

The liner notes from London mention the two Home gigs plus the above Heaven gig for Digweed’s birthday. It spends more time describing his Heaven set than basically anything else, with it taking up six paragraphs including the gramophone to Diggers as a birthday present story - and the Heaven gig is also spoken about more fondly with Home only briefly referenced and getting a bit criticised by DT.

The notes then conclude with “This two CD mix is based on these London sessions” (inclusive of the Heaven gig).
