New season of Adam Buxton has started. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the chat with the 78 year old Chilean feminist author. Eric Andre was a bit of a miss, felt quite promotional.
rhouses nice one - somehow I lost all my podcast subscriptions so thanks for the heads up
The Sammy the Bull podcast is incredible if you like that sorta thing. Last night’s episode was gripping. Amazing story teller.
LT42 this is good, but I find it difficult trusting him as a narrator. Got a bit confused and skipped the entire season 1 and went straight into the Castellano hit.
Phil-McRackin i missed this when you originally mentioned it. is this the one you’re talking about?
303abuser yes, that’s the one. Certainly worth a listen
Phil-McRackin thanks, i’m really interested in this one.
303abuser it’s a good listen although as Phil said it’s all pretty familiar stuff
Jules72 i’m sure, i’ve got a very nostalgic attachment to this stuff for some reason. i can listen to every rehashed story, as long as it’s well done.
303abuser yeah same
Likewise…Shadowplayers is an excellent book about Factory Records…seems pretty pricey on Amazon at the moment though.
rhouses but I find it difficult trusting him as a narrator
Why?
LT42 he obviously has a strong agenda against Gotti’s legacy - feel like there’s way too much bias. Plus he’s a rat
rhouses none of that makes any difference to the stories which are all corroborated. Theres too many ex-mafioso who have podcasts who would call you out if you were bullshitting. All of them to a man say Sammy is the real deal. You can tell he is anyway. Cutting a deal with the FBI doesn’t change that.

Dubman listening now, cheers.
Tiga’s one with Mills is a hard listen in parts, he just fawns over him a bit too much, but interesting enough all the same.
Amps Also, delighted to find out E-Werk was as mental as I suspected it was.
i find david choe interesting and he talks really openly about addiction in this one …
303abuser his Rogan podcast was good, a proper cool dude, he got very emotional on it too, prob worth digging out and having a look
LT42 yeah i enjoyed that one too. my introduction to him was howard stern, which he touches on as being right around the height of his insanity.
