Hursty Because they are cunts?
People are racist, homophobic cunts, the law will hopefully catch up with those who are.
Why should the law catch up with people who are racist or homophobic?
Unless they are violent or inciting others to violence, it’s not really a good use of police resources to go chasing an 18 year old scrote or ’Darren English ‘til I die’ for using offensive terms on an American social media platform.
If such people say things in public, the response will be they are marginalised by friends who have basic manners, they may even invite a violent response, and they may get fired with no reasonable ground for unfair dismissal. Basically, civil society already has many guardrails against outrageous and obnoxious behaviour, without basically criminalising EVERYTHING and expecting the police to round up anyone guilty of a thoughtcrime.
