What NIN album should one head to educate ones self?
Top man, will give it a whirl.
Just watching this again today and forgot what an amazing soundtrack this one has:

Have to say I really liked the Mank soundtrack by Trent Reznor
Good time soundtrack by Oneohtrix Point Never.
Reznor and Fincher are just perfect together. The soundtrack for The Social Network is so weird but also so excellent. Not sure why is works but it just does.
Random aside, was trying to find Pump Up The Volume the other night. Not available anywhere. Because of the soundtrack. There’s an unreleased Beastie Boys track. So much other obscure music. They cannot clear any of it - nobody can figure out who owns the rights to what - so the film is not available to stream, rent, or buy other than used physical copies.
Rocky 4
Carlito’s Way
Goodfellas
Breakdance
Beat Street
Tron Legacy
Blade runner (gotta be in there)
LOL @ OLB listening to NIN

Can’t tear myself away from the prog.

Pretty hate Machine - ‘Something I can Never have’ is one of the most emotive and angst ridden tracks ever put on tape. Talk about exorcising demons…….'
Just gave it a whirl.
Awful.
jonattonyeah I have the Pump Up The Volume soundtrack album, there’s no Beastie Boys track on it. He does play a Beastie Boys track in the movie and says the name of it, but as far as I remember the name he said it was, it was of an actual released track but not the track he a actually plays. So dunno what happened there. I was looking into that myself ages ago.
Yeah it’s an interesting story. I didn’t realize the track name of the BB song was off and that the track was actually released, but that the actual track wasn’t. Good to know. I doubt this sort of thing will ever happen again. Good job, Pump Up The Volume!
