        This year if I earned 200001 I’d be paying about 5k more tax than if I earned 199999. All to do with tax on pensions. It’s horrifically complicated.

        So by earning more you take home less. Same goes for a lot of people who lose childcare at 100k. No kids for me so that is not an issue.

              Anyone know how good these BYD cars are? They saw a 161% increase in sales in February.

                LT42 they are good, just taxed heavily so they are in competion with Tesla

                BYD have been at the forefront of battery tech for a lot longer than Tesla as well

                    LT42 I went to a BYD showroom in Hong Kong last year and was stunned at how good the high end models were. Always thought they wouldn’t be competitive with the Germans on the interior finishing but the ones I sat in were absolutely top-notch. Haven’t driven them so can’t comment on that side of things.

                      Hursty I’m mot sure if its them or not but a well established Chinese car company will start manufacturing “flying cars” next year. Whoever starts making “Johnny Cabs” will make a killing.

                        Amps I’m sure the general ignorance on display killed a bit of his soul. The guy arguing that the FDA was getting a tax break for DEI hires was a particular highlight. He simply doesn’t understand that government agencies don’t pay taxes.
