Wouldn’t surprise me whatsoever - as the end of last season underlined, Utd of late seem to only really turn up for “cup finals” or similar.

alistair the joke seems to have forgotten the CL which they are still in. And all it will take is a couple of big injuries at Liverpool and they could be back in with a shout for the PL

RichM I know I know. Still don’t see them winning the PL without a striker though. Don’t score enough goals from open play. If they go and buy say Olly Watkins in the window, I might change my mind.

alistair hopefully they will be out of the CL soon and Artetas lack of strengthening the squad where they desperately need it (aka a striker) will result in them not having any chance in the PL. And long may Arteta lack of resent trophies continue for the foreseeable future
