Got to love ESL teams referring to their current fans as ‘Legacy Fans’. Utter cunts.
I hope fans move on regardless - the absolutely cunts that they are. The owners, not the fans.

The only viewpoint you need.
Hardly any current players have come out said anything - fair play to Milner. I’ll bet they’ll all rubbish and say they wouldn’t have played once this all blows over. The spineless, greedy little cunts
Good to see Florentino Perez has football’s interests at heart -

Milner is only speaking out because he’ll be retired soon enough anyway.

He spoke because he was doing a post match interview. If any other club had played a match last night you’d have from another captain of another club.
It’s not like he called his own press conference.
SM001 I’ll bet they’d have ducked the question or not gone in front of the camera at all.
Along_the_Wire I seriously doubt that. But we’ll find out tonight with Chelsea v Brighton and as the week goes on.
I’m not knocking Milner, both he and Bamford spoke very well. I’m just saying these post match interviews are mandatory and its guaranteed they’ll be asked about the Super League.
SM001 anyway, my point was, no one is coming forward and saying anything. The little cunts
Along_the_Wire True. But I think everyone at these clubs are just as in the dark as everyone else. Make no mistake this was the work of the owners on their own, behind closed doors with zero consultation along the way. The likes of Woodward and Agnelli both spoke to Uefa only a few days ago to approve and give their full backing to the changes to the Champions League all the while knowing full well that they were just days from backing out of the CL and starting the Super League.
I’d come out and say “I can’t fucking wait to play Real Madrid and Juve, I’m done with trips to shitholes like Burnley”
Smallman1 - Speaking the truth since ’79
Sounds like it’s happening regardless. I will watch it if it’s on free to air, but unfortunately it won’t be.
Hursty Honestly, I’d love it to happen and fuck these clubs up. It’s just not gonna though.
Along_the_Wire I thought they had already signed the deal?
Wolves’ twitter page
Got a feeling Klopp is off in the summer. He looked completely pissed off yesterday.
Might not be his decision. Depends on how the owners view his comments
Hursty I’d imagine there’s a long way to go here.
Yes, was inferring that the owners might give him the boot for speaking publicly against their plans.
Hard one to gauge - think there would be absolute uproar if they did sack him - I think I’ll be done supporting LFC if it happens.
What i don’t quite understand is how the fuck is it going to be so lucrative if they don’t have the support of the lions share of supporters (outside of the clubs that are competing) and the main footballing bodies?
Sky have washed their hands of it too judging from last nights comments on MNF.

I would guess banking on a mega TV deal, which is split between 15/16 (that is, the 12 plus apparently there will be a small number of additional ‘lucky’ invitees), rather than Liverpool/Spurs/United etc having to share TV deals with the likes of Burnley, Bournemouth and so on…
bosstrabs Would that sort of financial arrangement justify the upheaval and condemnation from all and sundry? Look, they obviously have a plan and some sort of arrangement set up with some media outlet, i just cant see that a media deal will be enough to justify the hassle. It would want to be ridiculous - pay per view, raised subscriptions etc. And that’s not even taking into consideration the potential for it to be boycotted, which it inevitably will.
Surely for it to be financially successful everybody needs to be on board. And literally nobody is at this stage
seanc80 This is it. Nobody knows anything at this stage. For all we know ‘The Cartel’ could have deals in place or nothing whatsoever in place. The only thing we do know is that they have begun legal action to strengthen their position. They could be laughed out of the courts tomorrow or legal proceedings could last years.
It’s definitely happening
