General Football Nonsense
- Edited
My ma is scottish, been over there a lot as a kid in the 90s when we had Laudrup and gazza, always been about the football not politics.
My dad isn’t a rangers fan but supports Chelsea since the 70s got me into them as a kid, that blues brothers connection is mostly in last 20 years and I doubt Londoner’s give a fk about it more a northern ireland thing. Like who suppported Chelsea in 80s and 90s outside of London.
No word from Ed?
Great match. Top class from Modric and Rudiger. Werner and Havertz were great with Mount and Ruben. Alonslow actually doing well defensively in a back four. Kante uncharacteristically losing the ball twice leading to two goals. Sad face.

BlainSA Mount, James and Werner were particularly good and Tuchel got his selection right for this leg with an energetic midfield that rightly omitted the overrated and static Jorginho. Your boy Pulisic was terrible when he came on. TBF the best team lost and I think Alonso’s goal should have stood
United truly are fucked
OH BOBBY!
Commentators suggesting that Liverpool are constantly being undone by their ‘high line’, and how teams are ‘constantly going through us’ or some shite… are they on glue?
bosstrabs I’ve heard of Liverpool and Celtic but I wasn’t aware of this Rangers and Chelsea link.
Found an Intresting post on reddit about it:
What a bunch of cheating cnuts Athletico are… as a United fan, I’m glad City won

Was a great finish Jules, bit of rough and tumble
Stadium is bouncing
Sounds like Savic is giving The Fop a slap in the tunnel too.
Rucks in the tunnel ny the sound of it
Did anyone catch what Grealish said to Savic?
mono-stereo According to Ian, there is no political link between Chelsea and Rangers.
any London teams left in Europe?
I posted about this yesteday, mono. 3 teams well linked together.

yeah, we’ll linked through their “ patriotic leanings”.
I can understand provincial clubs wanting to tie up with historically successful clubs like Liverpool etc, but I have absolutely no idea why you would want to associate your team with a club like Chelsea.
I call it the Smallman1 affect Mono, everyone wants a piece of the action!
All down to the NI situation. The links loyalism and the skinhead/NF subset of it too.
Used to go to the Blues matches as a teenager and def remember games when there were groups of chelsea and rangers lads over for a visit. Would have stayed on the shankill and east belfast and been welcomed like long lost friends.
