  • General Football Nonsense

My ma is scottish, been over there a lot as a kid in the 90s when we had Laudrup and gazza, always been about the football not politics.

My dad isn’t a rangers fan but supports Chelsea since the 70s got me into them as a kid, that blues brothers connection is mostly in last 20 years and I doubt Londoner’s give a fk about it more a northern ireland thing. Like who suppported Chelsea in 80s and 90s outside of London.

Great match. Top class from Modric and Rudiger. Werner and Havertz were great with Mount and Ruben. Alonslow actually doing well defensively in a back four. Kante uncharacteristically losing the ball twice leading to two goals. Sad face.

BlainSA Mount, James and Werner were particularly good and Tuchel got his selection right for this leg with an energetic midfield that rightly omitted the overrated and static Jorginho. Your boy Pulisic was terrible when he came on. TBF the best team lost and I think Alonso’s goal should have stood

I agree. He wasn’t pressing the line like Werner and too busy trying to get the ball. Not sure if that’s what he was told to do or not, but the change in character made it even more unbalanced in their favour.

      Heno No word from Ed?

We all know where he’s ended up.

      Heno No word from Ed?

      Hola!

Just got back, what a night, brilliant game and the Bernabeu is absolutely fantastic.

Everything has been said ref the game, I’ll never forget it.

Mad_Cyril Hope you enjoyed the game as much as I did Edwand

It was a cracker wasn’t it, loved it.

Commentators suggesting that Liverpool are constantly being undone by their ‘high line’, and how teams are ‘constantly going through us’ or some shite… are they on glue?
