Hamilton academicals!

Most well run club with the best balance sheet is someone like West Brom isn’t it?

4th Richest owners?

I cracked and looked it up - huh - interesting.

Smallman1 nothing says “ I’m a fan ” more than a fried chicken boot!

    Lol.

“I fucking loved clive allen so much i fashoined a bowl from clay, the in the shape of his 1987 away shorts, and ate my ricicles out of it every day until i was 37!”

    Dan Never heard of him.

No surprises there. He’s an MLSer. Currently plays for Toronto FC, but has also played for Colorado, LAFC (Bale’s club) and Toronto FC previously. He’s a TFC Academy product. He’s a solid midfielder but nothing spectacular. He’s typically starts or comes off the bench for us. Not that you care. 😆

Mad_Cyril Your boy doesn’t look that impressed in the picture 😂

Yeah, that was down to the random muppet who offered to take the pic. He was smiling but she caught him at a bad moment. Oh well. He was pretty impressed and still talks about it now. Think about your first memory of your dad taking you to a football match and that was basically it for my little fella - even though I’d taken him when he was younger.

        Along_the_Wire Can’t see your tramp-trabs, Jay?!

Just bog standard grey and burgundy New Balance trainers. Nothing special.

        All good.

Sure he was made up, but you can’t get kids to pose appropriately no matter how hard you try!

loopdokter He’s typically starts or comes off the bench for us.

Careful not to give away too many key Canadian tactics or gold nuggets of inside info, Jay.

I’ll leave that to John Herdman; who’s an incredible manager. He’s totally changed the culture and success rate of both the women’s and men’s national teams.

I’m not so worried about our attacking players. Even our midfield is pretty strong with players who ply their trade in Europe and the Champion’s League. What concerns me is our back line, which is largely composed of MLS players who haven’t had that much exposure to world class attacking players besides those from Mexico, Uruguay and the US (with their Premier League players). Uruguay took us to task in our recent friendly and it was largely our back line that struggled. We held our own elsewhere on the rest of the pitch and even had a few decent chances at goal.

The forthcoming Japan friendly should be a good indication of our tactics going forward and how we’ll fare. Herdman does switch tactics accordingly though - unlike some managers who are stuck in x formation. He has definitely embraced the high pressing football that’s en vogue right now and amazing to watch as a fan.

Either way, I’m excited as a pig in shit! No more having to cheer for my ancestral country of Germany in the upcoming World Cup!

Innit. I’m trying to work out a plan of how to not see any of it. The whole thing makes my piss simmer. Usually when Australia gets knocked out early that’s the end of any coverage. They are such cunts for it but this time it will go in my benefit. The way it’s going the prem won’t be far behind it. It’s getting absolutely destroyed.
I’ve got a lot of friends who’ve fucked off the prem and gone back to following Crewe in the lower leagues because of it.

Yup, the worst imaginable human suffering will surely be endured by those reading Jay’s football, can we say, insights?

Cankles-McJeggings I’ve got a lot of friends who’ve fucked off the prem and gone back to following Crewe in the lower leagues because of it.

Yeah because Crewe and Gradi were super clean, weren’t they?

Nothing to do about that dimbo. It’s to do with football culture, something everyone who grew up watching it in the UK in the 80s and 90s had and a lot feel no longer exists in the prem.
The lower divisions still has it. Help you out?
