Gents, re the current HugNo situation, I have a few un answered questions…
When the board is in a rare ‘melter free’ period, do we actively advertise for a active melter? Or is the position naturally filled by some sort of ‘cosmic osmosis’ where by we imbibe a ‘free floater’ from somewhere on the internet without any sort of physical communication? Historically I’ve also noticed a keenness from orthodox posters to step up to the position, seemingly out of the blue; is there some sort of internal JC / GU dog whistle that goes out to all an sundry about the vacancy that I don’t know about?
