Amps Vernacular suggests somewhere other than the Cotswolds, possibly Shropshire way.
A quick google reveals that it’s ‘West Gate Lodge’, SP3 6SW - in the Cranborne Chase AONB in Wiltshire.
RichM that’s prob worth £1m in the Cotswolds!
benson You are missing a zero off the end
It’s not that big of a house and it doesn’t appear to have that big of a garden. The house itself doesn’t seem to have been sold in at least 30 years, but from a vague knowledge of the area and a check of others around it, I would guess in its current location it would be around £700k if in decent internal condition.
If it was rather in the Cotswolds, then depending on where exactly it would probably be a bit more, but I don’t think by a huge amount. The Cranborne Chase AONB is already fairly desirable in its own right. Obviously it would depend where exactly in the Cotswolds, but again given its size I don’t think you’d be paying much more than £1mil for it in even the most popular spots. In most parts it would still be notably under it.
Have a day off Hugo for Christ’s sake!
Amps how mint is that?!
Along_the_Wire nice build in a nice spot.

I also like this Zaha Hadid effort in Beijing…

Beijing is quite interesting architecturally, because in its rush to modernise it kind of gave huge open canvases to some top international architects.
Hugo absolutely FEWMIN about his deserved recent three teams/Creme Egg demolitions.
