It was a postponed gig from about 3m earlier…called off on the night… so Trent was very apologetic but also very angry because the venue couldn’t fit in some of their backdrop. No support and they tore the place apart for over 2hrs

I’m sure I’ve missed a few some foggy memories in there

Too many to mention.

Of the last few years, Jeans Team, The Buzzcocks and The Vaccines in Beijing, great atmosphere for all of them.

My favourite live act were Crystal Castles; Alice Glass was nuts. Also saw them so many times I couldn’t really pick just one instance.

Act I’m most disappointed never to have seen live are The Prodigy, I was unfortunately too young when they were in their prime.

Has anyone seen Anklepants live?

LT42 lol…havent heard that name in a while - his Boiler Room was erm….quite special

Massive attack in Manchester around 2003 was a good un. Sasha at the Barbican was pretty fucking cool as well.

Would that of been the UFORB tour. I saw it in Brighton & Portsmouth. It was very good.

Lol’s for Dave and Hugo, a pair of live act disasters.

Is weird lookin back at this list, as there’s such a massive gap between Prince in ’98, and Fleetwood Mac in 2009 - but I realise that for that 11 year period, I barely went to any gigs. Spent most weekends in a dark corner of a club listening to DJs. Was only in 2008, after Mrs Vin and I had got together that I realised you could actually do both…
