SM001 ….did you see that Instagramer who was calling out Diggers on some post for using sync ? Someone has setup an IG profile busting DJs for using sync and he jumped on one of Uncle John’s posts calling him out randomly for using sync . UJ basically told him to do one 🤣

what @djsusingsync failed to realise is that if you stand next to a DJ who has Sync turned off, and take a photo / video of their CDJs (or XDJs) - there is still a low-white light flickering at some hz rate under the Sync button when there is power - and this makes them appear to be actually lit up in some photos when they aren’t.

It happens on my XZ and it happens on 2000nxs2 / 3000 that I’ve seen. Not sure about other models but something is still lit up that does not look apparent with the naked eye.

I want to know who these people are. Have they nothing better to do? Why would you make an entire thread dedicated to exposing sync button DJs?
Another favorite of mine are the people who say a real dj should dj on vinyl not usb. I have notice posts such as ,“USB dj” or USB jockey, as if it is cheating or something. I see quite a bit of these responses on facebook, particularly directed toward female djs.
I say to these people , “ Well of course DJs use usbs it’s how djing is done today. Nobody wants to lug heavy ass vinyl around anymore or pay 13 dollars a track. Also, it is much easier to show up with prepped USB sticks and a pair of headphones to a gig. ” UGH these people.

I actually don;t get what the issue is with using sync. Track selecion and mixing points and looping is much easier with it. Yeah sure we all learned the hard way with records running out at the afterparty whilst trying to dj at 11am following a big night but why would I want to make my life that hard?
