Fuck me. Had half a westons and well on the way whilst doing the bbq.

Only has 2 crumpets all day as been mental busy, prob not the best combo.

Hoping the Tandoori Chicken takes the edge off šŸ¤ž

Timothy Taylors cask ale is hard to beat when properly served in a pub up north.

If i’m drinking lager from the local supermarket I’ll go for Estella as it’s a decent brew and made in Barcelona unlike many other beers which are just mass produced in the UK.

My favourite brewery is Hopstar from Darwen, they do an ale called Lush, and it’s still my favourite 11 years since 1st tasting it.

      Hursty cask ale

Room temperature cask ale after a long hike is nothing short of the best.

That’s one of the great things about England. No matter where, you’re close to a pub. Here in California, when you get out into the sticks, you’re out in the sticks. No turning back. Nowhere to go. Been on a few hikes with people where I’ve had to pull them together. There is nowhere else to go. This is it. We have to get off this mountain.

jonattonyeah Sounds depressing however you are experiencing a more raw outdoors experience which is appealing too!

Beers after a walk is mandatory in the UK, I was weaned on real ale shandies!

Been drinking a lot of this during lockdown. A LOT.

Local brewery, same day delivery in Brighton postcodes, awesome beer etc etc.

Along_the_Wire Found my Genesee Ruby Red Kolsch on a store-display halfway to the register. Happily swapped that six pack @ 8.99 USD for a twelve pack at 9.98 USD.

A friend left some Carlsberg Export in the fridge so I’m working my way through those.

Needs must Ed - as long as you didn’t buy them yourself that’s all that matters. At least it’s not Carlsberg proper as a mate of mine has a habit of bringing round to mine. That or Fosters ffs

i went round to my mate’s dad’s for a BBQ a couple of years ago - neither of them drink beer. As I walked in the door he told me he had a crate of ā€œthose beers you likeā€ chilled in the fridge in the shed. As I opened the fridge door I was greeted by 24 beautifully chilled cans of Carling. Think they’re still in there today

Along_the_Wire Rude. Besides, I’m not the only one on the board that’s enjoyed that beer.
