“Incident” is a good track but everything else from him just seems like paint-by-number house/techno. Like something a robot would put together based off of some Beatport-driven algorithm.

Have a soft spot for Antigone. Very pretty melody

Imagine even the merest thought of listening to this.

His productions have sucked for years.

His resident advisor mix (admittedly from a loooooooonnnnnnnngggggggggg time ago) is an all time great. That and his balance is a masterpiece.

    Will check this out.

Seen him live a few times - always a good night out imo.

Also a really nice fella - very patiently ID’ed a few tracks he’d played when I was chatting to him after a gig.

I’ll give this a go. GU was a big thing for me (and I guess a lot of you) in the 90s.

Not a massive Voorn follower, but he is (I think) a DJ with gravitas, so worthy of a GU.

Is this an actual project of passion or is it yet another court ordered piece of shit to satisfy the suit by artists and investors that The Fat Lads fucked over?

…deffo a very capable producer, his mixes haven’t interested me for the last few years though

According to Chris Scott, of Lexicon Avenue, Voorn was behind a lot of Kleinenberg’s early work…

Echo I’ve always wondered where those tunes came from. He clearly didn’t make them based on the 180 he suddenly did musically.

Hope it’s better than Baumel’s snooze fest. Fuck me that was dull.

zackster I’ve always wondered where those tunes came from. He clearly didn’t make them based on the 180 he suddenly did musically.

Sasha dropping Sacred on GU13 still sends shivers down my spine.

            Proper tops off.

Anyone remember the Secret on Cocoon I think? Top Joris track

My Lexicon is an absolute hall of famer. If Voorn had a hand in that as well then he’s my man 😆

jonattonyeah Penis out for me, Ed.

                One of the great transitions.

And IIRC Dutchy was there to see it live.

                Lucky bastard.
