I’m not sure the ‘erasing’ is always the deliberate act it’s sometimes, conveniently, labelled as. Some people just have no interest in history, or are oblivious to it for whatever reason.

Deliberate erasing is definitely a problem though, I definitely agree with that.

…OK, as I’ve said repeatedly in this thread, I’m not a huge fan of the article either, but definitely don’t find some of the parallels that odd/unbelievable either.

I do find the fact that bringing race in this conversation is triggering for some quite bizarre though.

I reckon if you ask Mick Wilson ‘is prog racist’ he’d probably answer that question quite differently. He wrote a pretty good article in DJ Mag about the electronic music scene about this exact topic rather recently (he’s the tech editor for DJ Mag).
