I have a degree of sympathy with him. Some of the stuff Ronnie did in that match showed a lack of respect for the game and the tournament….
….but then that’s him all over isn’t it? He’s an obnoxious cunt. He’s always undermining the sport, his opponents, and generally being subversive.
On the other hand he’s the greatest, most exciting talent the game’s ever seen and without him Barry Hearn would not have had the same level of income, and we would have had to watch the likes of Selby grinding everyone into dust for the last twenty years.
