benson I probably post this every year but went to the Nut Tree Inn in Murcott last night. Absolutely bang on. Nice wine flight as well. https://www.nuttreeinn.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/Nut-Tree-Inn-Festive-menu-2023.pdf Guinea fowl instead of sweetbreads and we had cheese soufle from the veg menu in place of salmon. Absolutely spot on

benson Mad_Cyril Generally my view. But it was decent portions and decent food. Nice to try a few different wines. But yes, in general I prefer an a la carte
