Amazing food served by professional and polite staff. The decor is quite upscale. White table covers and cloth napkins. Prices are reasonable. I recommend the Aromatic Crispy duck, the stir fry spinach and hot and sour soup. The sizzling lamb was good also. Many Covid safety protocols in place including full glass barricades between tables. Definitely would go back.

Not my words, the words of HB Jairaj on Google.

Where are you and Dazza going for your anniversary.

Smallman1 It is. The beef was superb (rare) and the pigs head terrine was like I was dining with David Cameron himself

Dave, is kung po an actual Chinese dish or another bastardised European effort the Chinese wouldn’t touch?

Looking down my local Chinese takeaway menu to work out how many of them are even genuine. I’m making a list. I have gravy chips and fried rice so far on the list.

I have Kung Po Chicken when I’m feeling a little crazy Si.

IT’S GOT FACKIN NATS IN IT, INNIT.

Egg Fried rice of course, I’m not a compete animal

Mad_Cyril Was in Manchester over the weekend for a mate’s birthday. Hit the bars on Peter Street and had a lovely steak dinner and cocktails at Hawksmoor. Superb.

hawksmoor is superb. especially the sunday roast

Best sticky toffee pudding I ever did have?

Rick’s in Tooting, followed by Hawksmoor.

Grabbed some Chef Smelly’s takeout over the weekend. Half Dungeness Crab, Blackened Prawns, Garlic Noodles. Not the most aesthetically pleasing dish but whew was it good. Love this time of year for the crab alone.
