Old-Dutch He’s anti-vax, said a measles outbreak was normal when it clearly wasn’t, then reversed course to indicate that maybe people should vaccinate their kids instead of having them just get sick and risk death. That’s not changing opinion as a situation develops, the science has been there for decades. He’s a moron.

Measles is a funny one to be honest. It used to be thought of as the common cold / flu. There’s some interesting charts in this link showing what improvements in sanitation etc. did to lower rates, prior to the vaccine.

I didn’t say he pulled the trigger, but his conspiracy-based thinking makes him, at best, grossly unqualified and, at worst, dangerous in regards to any decision making position in public health.

I think the label “Anti-vax” is a term thrown around far too easily these days if I’m being honest.

Anyone who questions a vaccine - especially a completely new platform where the definition of vaccine has been changed to encompass a compleyely new technology, which previously would habe required at least 5 years of study before being approved is very easily called an anti-vaxxer. Irrespective of what they think of traditional vaccines and their own personal and the record of their own childrens’ vaccines.

It’s either all in or all out it seems. Even if you’ve taken the new ‘vaccine’ yourself

Wasn’t my intent, but fair enough.

RFK fits the “traditional” definition, he’s a purist if you will. He’s a former heroin addict, a documented generally awful person, conspiracy theorist, etc. If he wasn’t a Kennedy, no one would know who he is because he’d probably be in jail.

I’d highly recommend anyone to read his book.on Anthony Fauci.

My eyes were popping out of my head with the shit he mentions in the book. All heavily referenced - pretty much half a page of text and half a page of references.

He calls Fauci out for mass deaths in a number of instances. The book was written in 2021.

Not a single defamation case filed since….
