Oh Rhouses. Never change!
The trick to French toast…. Vanilla. Add it. Also, try buttermilk instead of milk with the eggs and always use white bread - preferably something like French or Italian bread.

wrongun lol. You’re right, moving out of Papa’s mansion should come in at #1.
Kells77 Ooooh. I’ve really started appreciating paneer over the last couple of years, so much easier on the tummy than meat dishes. Will search out a good recipe and let you know. I’ll know what to cook (or order in) if you ever visit India!
loopdokter I’m having trouble with the custard ratios between the milk and egg I think. Do add vanilla and touch of bourban… will try buttermilk next time. Attempted it with a semi stale baguette and it was a massive fail. Thick white bread has been ok.
loopdokter It’s kitchen moonshine, mate, lol
I always have a saag paneer when ordering a Ruby. A great dish indeed.
I started learning to mix with jog wheels, my ears and no sync. I also learnt to limit my use of the flanger FX. I’m not very good, but loving it.
Drank a lot, trained hard on the bike and am at my lowest weight for decades.
Work has been an utter cunt and continues to be to this very day. I would honestly welcome a cold hand dropping onto my shoulder and being asked to pop into a meeting room to be faced with my CEO, the HR director and a white A4 envelope with Private & Confidential and my name neatly typed on it.
What’s your role at work mate? Sounds stressful
Millsy Exec Director. Currently leading major restructure - it’s horrific.
Along_the_Wire been there mate. Not a nice project at the best of times. Assume redundancies are in the mix? Have you considered using BiZ TRanZ expert? I’m afraid I don’t know any
Need any biz trans brother?
Just LMK if yes and I’m there.
Millsy losing people on an unprecedented scale. It’s a lonely job, that’s for sure.
Along_the_Wire horrific. Stay strong brother.
Sounds shite Grant. Just been through risk of redundancy process at mine (Global), but thankfully I didnt have to deal with it, just survive! Lost a few good soldiers in the process though
You’re at a big Agency arent you?
As you say unfortunately theres a shit load more of this coming over next few months in preparation for when furlough ends
That’s shite Grant. A horrible cunt of a responsibility
Along_the_Wire feel for you Grant. I’m not at Exec level just yet, but have been at the level below for a few years now and the one word I would use to describe that level of management and above is definitely ‘lonely’.
On topic, we saved a bit of cash on childcare costs over lockdown and finally finished off some home improvements, which surprisingly improved my mood a lot.
Also read a lot of books - kudos to you Hannu for doing 50. I’m on #30 this year.
I only played on my Technics once over the whole period, which could be a sign that I should move them on perhaps. If I can’t play them during a lockdown, when will I play them?
I manage a team in my role and I fucking hate it - managing staff is not a great experience as a lot of people try to sell to you - what it actually is is a shit load of constant stress. Been in my same place of work now for too long.
I hate managing people. I always seem to inherit a team of misfits. Thats why I went into contracting, but the HMRC has made that route untenable too. Thankfully I’ve landed in a role where I can earn six figures and not have to be a people manager. I’m sticking where I am for a while and building a pension asap. Want to retire at 55 but doubt that will happen either. Work is a bunch of arse.
I manage myself on the basis of how do you manage the unmanageable?
An absolute renegade of a biz tranz maverick.
