IndustryStandard it also has a lot to do with me working 14 hrs a day for the last 2 months and being generally run down and stressed out.
You’re probably right here.
This is purely spitballing but based on some logic - everyone I know with long covid:
A) Had a stressful lifestyle (work, kids, other urgent demands)
B) Didn’t stop for Covid
So make sure you (and anyone reading this with Covid) does actually rest and do restful things. If anyone is loading stress onto you tell them to back off (easier said than done with kids!)
It takes about a week or 10 days to get past the worst, but I noticed it took me and others about a month to get back at it - if you’re an avid runner, or into intense workouts, just stick with walking/jogging outside once it has passed for a few weeks to get your strength back and avoid pushing yourself at all.
Having seen what a wrecking ball long-covid is in 5 different instances (pre and post vaccine) my main concern is helping me/as many of my friends avoid it as possible, as catching Covid itself is inevitable.
