Mad_Cyril I’ll be looking to fly something a bit more modern but I may use a fan to blow the flowing locks as I increase altitude.

    I’ve been working my way through Days Gone. It lacks a little polish in places but it’s kept me interested and I’ve enjoyed it. I think I’m nearly at the end of the story and I’ve done about two thirds of the side missions, only killed 3 hoards though 😬

      TitianWarrior not the worst game I’ve ever played. Got a bit repetitive at times, but the open world was interesting/well done and the story was really really long, so you get your money’s worth.

      You can really tell the difference between studios when you play a game such as RDR2 and then Days Gone. The former is a finely polished work of art, the latter is just a half-decent game that could have been even better if more time was spent on it

          Playing the most recent Tomb Raider. Its really well done and returns to the puzzle elements of the original Tomb Raider really well. Recommended.

            I’m on the Avengers game on PS4. Not that impressed TBH. Think I’m just more inclined towards open world stuff these days, and it feels horribly linear by comparison. Looks good, and the combat system is decent, but just not enjoying it all that much.

            Millsy that was a good game. In fact all three of them were enjoyable. That 3rd one was a little on the short side and a bit cut-scene heavy

              Huh - now that is a BIG announcement. May actually have to get an Xbox X/S now.

              Anyone getting one of these new consoles this side of Xmas? My mate is adamant he’ll get a PS5 on launch week, despite rarely having the time to game and having about 10 other games he started but hasn’t finished. I will get a PS5 in due course, but maybe not for 12 months as there are no exclusives that tickle my fancy at the moment.

                gcw I’m pretty much the same as you, definitely getting a PS5, but I’m not really interested in the launch titles so happy to wait a bit.

                    TitianWarrior Swerve it until they bring out the revised small version that doesn’t sound like a jet engine taking off.

                        Intrigued by the new Hyrule Warriors, but waiting for some game play footage, not interesting in wandering around etc.

                        Amps yes there is that of course! Interesting that the games will take a leap in price so that the main titles will be £70 on release.

                          Amps The new consoles are fucking massive because they’ve went for more air flow in the designs so the first gen versions should be ok sound wise and not like a gulfstream jet flying around your living room.

                                To disc or dl only? That is the question. Demon souls reveal looked boss, and GOW Ragnarok will be super duper.

                                Sounds like the PS5 storage is small considering game downloads will be upwards of 100g+, the Xbox has a 1tb HD as far as I can see for the standard model.

                                Thinking I’m going to keep the PS4 for now and invest in a PC anyway. Plenty of time to take the jump to the new machine.
